Established in 1992 by Steve Ellis, SLIX has mainly specialised in motorcycle paintwork and plastic repairs. This is still the case but now SLIX can take on classic and custom work on cars as well. Most of our work is through word of mouth rather than advertising, and the majority of our customers come from Sussex and Kent. The range of styles and types of bikes previously worked on is huge, from scooters of the 60's to full blown Race Bikes; and from Choppers to Gold Wings. All styles and tastes are catered for, whether this is an authentic paint job on a classic, a custom flame job on a Harley, race rep jobs on modern bikes or just single panel repairs. All the new paint technologies are covered such as Chameleon (colour-shifting) and holographic particle paints. Shot, bead and vapour blasting can be arranged as can powder coating. Please note, that although, unlike most sites, I have given approximate prices for the jobs you will find in the galleries; these can vary according to complexities of design, type of paint used (this alone can vary between £40 and £1100 per litre!) and the condition of your bike/car when we get it.
